In the modern digital projection display technology, despite the various model of projection display, the basic system of a projection display can be viewed as a combination of light source, optical illumination system, spatial light modulator, projection lens and the screen system. Projection lens display the enlarged image on the screen which the image quality of the projected image depends on its optical characteristics, this includes the system magnification, size of the projection beam, and the energy distribution of the projected image.
