Shanghai Optics, Inc. is leading supplier of photonics products ranging from optical components, custom lens systems, and opto-mechanical hardware. All of our design and manufacturing is done in China, and our US sales offices serve as a liaison for our North American and European clients. Shanghai Optics strives to provide its customers with world class service along with high quality, low cost solutions, and the core OEM industries served are in the medical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial and research industries worldwide.

We are currently seeking an individual for the Sales Support/Project Management position. The individual must be entrepreneur minded, customer centric, and willing to learn about new technologies and applications. The candidate must be well organized, highly responsible and able to read and write Chinese.


  • Entrepreneur minded and customer centric
  • Provide timely and effective administrative support within the Sales function
  • Provide support in all activities for open Projects (sales order) from quotation to shipment
  • Maintain sales records and update customer records in CRM system.
  • Communicate with sales, other departments and clients regarding project status, shipments, invoices, and other sales related areas
  • Work with sales or customer to resolve product or technical inquiries, perform research as needed for the sales team such as reviewing documents, scanning documents, emailing content and investigating solutions (i.e. material, shipping, etc.).
  • Provides weekly reports
  • Employee may be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Experience: Two years of working experience preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge and Skill sets:
  • Must be able to read and write Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin welcome)
  • Demonstrated strong time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Must be motivated, organized, driven and competitive
  • Ability to multi-task various projects and assignments

Work Hours: 9am – 6pm, M-F

Compensation: Base plus bonus (Monthly, Quarterly, Year End), Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
